The 3 speakers namely Ms Asha Pathania, AVP Housekeeping, PVR Limited, Ms Aarti Sharma, National Customer Marketing, Diageo India and Ms Payal Koul, Ex VP-Strategic Services Business Development, IBM firstly gave us a brief of their learning throughout their professional journey and then took us through how being a woman indeed helped each one of them to succeed in their respective professions. They next spoke about the inhibitions that a working woman has in her career and accordingly made a few suggestions which were:
a. Never be scared of failure
b. Do not hesitate to incorporate empathy at workplace
c. Plan things in advance and complete the tasks systematically
d. Invest in building strong relationships
e. Try different roles in different industries
f. Give equal time to your personal self
g. Accept change and update and upgrade yourself
