He listed and explained the key mandates by SEBI in protection of interests of investors, to promote development of securities market and for regulation of securities market. Further he explained concepts of primary and secondary market, types of issues, rights of a shareholder, SEBI recent investor protection measures and mutual funds with practical examples.
At the end of the session he gave a practical demo of how to open Demat Account, how to do trading, how to apply in Public Issue in Online Mode and Offline Mode
