A waste collection drive of Old clothes, E-waste, Old books and papers and Plastic waste –  bottles, wrapping material, single use plastic was organised.  

The students contributed to the drive by bringing and collecting the waste from their homes  and societies. SVIMS collaborated with Swach (V Collect) for collection of the waste. The  Swachh representatives visited the Institute on 14th March for collection. The aim to conduct  this drive was to create awareness and sensitize the students towards reducing hazardous  disposal practices and working collectively towards a better environment and a green future.  Swach, under their VCollect initiative offers refurbished products to the underprivileged for  their use.
