E-Poster making activity was conducted at SVIMS on 5th March 2022. The theme for poster making was “Explore your inner self”. The students created beautiful posters depicting their thoughts and importance of the day.


7th March 2022

The students were asked to choose a Woman Politician of Indian Origin / Businesswoman and present their life journey to the other participants. Students prepared the presentations on eminent women personalities such as Ms. Indra Nooyi, Ms. Sushma Swaraj, Mrs. Indira Gandhi etc.


8th March 2022


The Director, Dr. B.H. Nanwani, in her address spoke about the importance and the role of homemakers who make the household machinery run smoothly day in and day out. She remembered her mother and shared her experiences growing up around her. Dr. Nanwani quoted a fascinating article from the Times Business dated 7th March 2022 about big companies calling out homemakers for jobs, recognizing their managing skills.


Guest Speaker, Dr. Sneha Nagar, Gynaecologist at Inlaks and Budrani Hospital. spoke about menstrual hygiene, PCOS, PCOD, Sexual health and mental health. She recommended regular check-ups and timely mammography, breast examination and pap smear tests. She emphasized upon loving and respecting yourself first because women are blessed with the magic of ‘bringing life out of life'.


Ms. Sonali Joshi then welcomed all the mothers for the next part of the event – Celebrating our Homemakers: Our First Management Gurus. The students had joined into the session with their mothers, sharing about their growing experiences. It was heartening to see the pride on the faces of the mothers for their daughters and the reverence and love and the daughters have for their mothers. Director Ma’am appreciated and thanked the homemakers for participating in the event.


The students of MBA I also presented solo and group dance performances and Ms. Anjali Deshmukh, Yoga therapist, Kaivalyadham conducted a session to show how yoga can be used to destress.
