Makar Sankranti/Lohri/Pongal was celebrated on 14th January 2023. Songs and dance performances marked the occasion. Students spoke about the relevance of the festival; Ms. Sakshi Gandhi in her speech said that Makar Sankranti is celebrated to mark the beginning of the harvest season of Rabi crops; while Ms. Hetal Yadav spoke about Pongal being celebrated to thank the Sun, Mother Nature and the various farm animals that help to contribute to a beautiful harvest.

The event ended with faculty and students exchanging Til-gul to mark the occasion.
