EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Parakram Diwas, also known as the Courage Day is observed on the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as a tribute to a leader who devoted his life to the cause of India's freedom.

Ms. Madeeha Shaikh(MBA-I) in her speech shared about Netaji as a man of strong will who greatly contributed to Indian independence. A leader of the Indian National Congress and a member of the non-cooperation movement, he was instrumental in India's independence movement.

With his never-say-die attitude; he inspired his followers to never give up even during the most difficult times. He continued his fight for freedom with the immense passion. This teaches us not to let go of our goals even after a major setback. Netaji believed in teamwork and led by example. His army by the name of Azad Hind Fauj mirrored his persona and believed in him. He said, ‘When you are certain that you are correct, you can even go against your own will’.

The students also presented a group song dedicating it to Netaji and all our National Heroes who fought for our independence.

Ms. Sakshi Gandhi(MBA-I) conducted a quiz wherein, in a fun way, the attendees learnt many aspects of Netaji’s life. Towards the end of the event, Mrs. Harshali Bhalerao(faculty) paid homage to the great leader and quoted his most famous slogan, “"Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azadi Doonga!"that inspires the young generation even today to respect and value the freedom that they have been blessed with because of the efforts of our leaders.
