International Yoga Day

SVIMS celebrated International Yoga Day 2023 in association with Heartfulness Institute
over three days, highlighting the theme &quot;Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.&quot; Day one
focused on chair exercises to relieve stress, enhance concentration, and included pranayama
with a heart-focused approach. Day two emphasized healthy eating habits, leg and hand
exercises, and cleansing meditation. On June 21st, students performed Surya Namaskar,
meditation, and yoga, followed by a prayer and vote of thanks, concluding the celebrations.
The event successfully promoted the benefits of yoga and meditation for physical and mental
well-being.
